Sort of sad news today, if not terribly unexpected. Red Dead Redemption 2 has had its release date pushed back again, with October 26th, 2018 now being earmarked by Rockstar.
Red Dead Redemption was hugely successful on release back in 2010, combining Rockstar’s open-world chops with the perennially popular, if somewhat romanticised, version of the Wild West people have loved in movies and TV shows for decades. To say everyone expected a sequel sooner rather than later is perhaps an understatement.
While we still haven’t seen too much of Red Dead Redemption 2, the release date delay was accompanied with a few more delightful screenshots, some of which you can see below.
There’s a few more available on the official website, but no more information on what we can expect out of the game.
We’re expecting guns and horses. Maybe guns from horseback. Horses from gunback? Stay tuned!
