Hey you! Yes, you! Want to go to PAX Australia this year? Of course you do!
PAX Australia 2017 will be held in Melbourne, from the 27th to the 29th of October. It’s been scheduled a bit further away from the Melbourne Cup this year in hopes of cheaper flights and accomodation being available. For our international guests, the Melbourne Cup is a big horse race some people find exceptionally important.
Badges for admission will go on sale starting on the 14th of March, which is just after PAX East. If you get in early you can save $5, so if you want maximum funds available for spending on nerdy things, book your tickets and flights ASAP!
Single day tickets will cost $65 AUD while a three day pass will set you back $165 AUD, a handy additional saving of $30. You could buy a book?
International attendees will have to pay $165 AUD for a three day pass, so if you’re coming from abroad you’ll need to do the currency conversion tango. Think of it as your first experience of what life is like in Australia.
Last but not least, if you’d like to attend the Bring Your Own Computer events you’ll need to fork out an additional $45 AUD. If anyone has done this before, let us know what it was like in the comments.
If you’re going to PAX Aus this year, make a note for the 14th of March and bookmark the official registration page so you’re ready to go.
And let us know if you’ll be in attendance. Maybe we’ll see you there?
