Steam Weekly Top Sellers: December 5th, 2016

Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

Okay, um… you’re forgiven for being surprised. Goodness knows, I’m surprised. This is not the game I expected to see sitting atop the charts this morning. We’re officially in the middle of “Holiday 2016”, and a three-year old game is outselling the new releases?

Don’t get me wrong. GTAV is still a great game, GTA Online continues to get great support from Rockstar, and the latest additions to the game look killer. But really? Killer enough to knock last week’s best-seller from top spot? Great enough to defeat some of the biggest games released this year – let alone this holiday season?

Ah well. If you’ve not yet snapped up a copy of Grand Theft Auto V, looks like you’re not alone. Save money and pick up a couple of Shark Cards while you’re at it.
