Okay, um… you’re forgiven for being surprised. Goodness knows, I’m surprised. This is not the game I expected to see sitting atop the charts this morning. We’re officially in the middle of “Holiday 2016”, and a three-year old game is outselling the new releases?
Don’t get me wrong. GTAV is still a great game, GTA Online continues to get great support from Rockstar, and the latest additions to the game look killer. But really? Killer enough to knock last week’s best-seller from top spot? Great enough to defeat some of the biggest games released this year – let alone this holiday season?
Ah well. If you’ve not yet snapped up a copy of Grand Theft Auto V, looks like you’re not alone. Save money and pick up a couple of Shark Cards while you’re at it.
