The PlayStation 4 Pro has garnered a wave of interest in Sony that has pushed it well above that of the Xbox One S.
According to MCVUK, 65% of all PS4 sales last week were PS4 Pros, with the final sales figure saw the PlayStation have a 44% advantage over Xbox Ones for the week.
This put Sony at having 53% of the overall console market share, with the Xbox One’s share taking up 37% (though the console is up 85% week-over-week as a result of price cuts).
It’s important to look at overall PS4 sales, rather than just that of the PS4 Pro, because they go hand-in-hand. The launch of the Pro sees price cuts for the PlayStation 4, of which people have certainly taken advantage.
No doubt, the interest will settle along with the post-launch hype.
