Steam Weekly Top Sellers: November 7th, 2016

Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

Phew! We had a frantically busy weekend at PAX Australia, so this week’s charts are a little late – but like a BBQ pig flying through the air, they’re still good!

And by “good” we mean “actually rather different to last week”, which is always fun. I mean, obviously, the first two spots are taken up by Sid Meier’s latest adventure, but that’s what we would have expected (and remember, one is the game, one is the Digital Deluxe edition). It’s once you start looking further down the charts that things get interesting – Farming Simulator is deservedly sitting at #4, and the season pass for Dark Souls III is at #9.

Looks like it’s been a big one for pre-orders, too! People are getting in early for FM 2017 and Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 – both standard and its Digital Deluxe edition.

The one we want to know more about, though? My Summer Car, which makes its Early Access debut at #10 and has captured the imaginations of gamers around the world. Described as “the ultimate car owning, building, fixing, tuning, maintenance AND permadeath life survival simulator,” we are just a little intrigued.
