Quentin Tarantino’s tenth movie will be his last

Quentin Tarantino is one of the best film makers of our time, I hope that goes without saying. Well, according to him, his tenth movie will, in fact, be his last.

I swear this is Quentin Tarantino and not Morrissey

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Tarantino confirmed that he will only be making ten films at the Adobe Max Creativity Conference. He said in fantastic Tarantino fashion:

“Drop the┬ámic. Boom. Tell everybody, ‘Match that shit’.”

The film maker has released 8 fantastic movies, and is in the process of creating his ninth now, which he has teased us as a Bonnie and Clyde-type story set in 1930’s Australia.

When asked how the director defines success, he responded with:

“Hopefully, the way I define success when I finish my career is that I’m considered one of the greatest filmmakers that ever lived. And going further, a great artist, not just filmmaker,” he said. The audience laughed and applauded.”

Needless to say, he definitely will be regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of our time. Whether or not he will be regarded as one of the greatest to have ever lived, I don’t know. I guess we’ll just have to wait on those other two films to find out.
