Marvel movies are going to become “more intimate” after Infinity War, according to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige.
Feige sat down with Vulture to discuss Infinity War, as well as the future of Marvel after the huge clash of titans that will come with that movie.
Several topics came up, like Thanos’s motivations, Cate Blanchett (of which Feige would not confirm that she appears in the film) and the unexpected team ups we can expect.
When addressing the team ups, Feige said that there were some great rivalries and team ups, “There are so many, but I would say, both because of the characters and the actors who’ve created them, Doctor Strange and Tony Stark.” He also addressed that many of them are unexpected, “Particularly in Infinity War and the movie after that. There are… unexpected team-ups.”
Addressing the future of the MCU after Infinity War, Feige said:
“I think it’s possible to have more intimate movies after that, or to have more interesting, unexpected combinations of characters after that, absolutely.
It never is intentionally about ‘being even bigger.'”
