Microsoft engineer Mike Ybarra posted the above tweet on Twitter, confirming backwards compatibility for Xbox 360 on Project Scorpio.
At this point, not too much is known about Project Scorpio, but from what we gather, it’s essentially an “Xbox One Pro,” aimed at furthering 4K in gaming.
It will have more powerful hardware, and according to Aaron Greenberg, the head of Xbox game marketing, it is the “end of console generations.”
However, the head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, recently dissented this, saying that he does not plan on “trying to turn consoles into the graphics card market.”
