Thank Gaming It’s Friday! October 21st, 2016

Welcome to Player Attack’s TGIF, a weekly feature where we discuss what we’re doing over the weekend whether it’s games, movies, TV, books or anything else! We’d love to hear what you’re up to as well – heck, you might come across some like-minded people and become super friends!

My plans this weekend include watching the World of Tanks Wargaming League APAC Season 1 Finals streaming live from ESL Studios in Sydney and wishing I could be there. While I’m here in Adelaide though, I will be sinking even more time into Mini Metro (out now for iOS and Android!), and checking out Orwell, which had the misfortune to launch on the same day as both the Nintendo Switch reveal and the RDR2 trailer. There’s a free demo available now, and I am more than a little intrigued!

Still chasing dragons down in Dragon Age: Inquisition. Wish there was a lot more of them, but I guess the Skyrim Special Edition will quench my bloodlust soon enough!

Also going to put a couple of hours into Battlefield 1. Hearing good things from a variety of sources and, while my beta experience was less than stellar, it’s Battlefield. There’s always fun to be had in Battlefield.

Free time is becoming somewhat of a premium due to the upcoming nuptials so games probably won’t get much of a look-in this weekend. Also, I literally JUST became an uncle so will probably spend a little time with the new parents to try and help 🙂

If I do get around to any gaming at all it will probably be the Battlefield 1 campaign? Thoughts?

*spooky music* Halloween approaches, but is not quite here yet. Got any good horror game or movie recommendations you’d like to share? Scare us in the comments below!
