Some new footage has surfaced from Battlefield 1 showing the player running about and attempting to take down enemies with a hilariously tiny little handgun.
Well, it’s real (uploaded by jackfrags) and the gun is too.
It’s called the 2.7mm Kolibri. It was patented in 1910, and then created in 1914 by an Austrian watchmaker. The round is the smallest available center fire cartridge in the world. For anyone that doesn’t know much about guns, a centerfire round is where the hammer on the gun (the mechanical force that initiates the explosion) hits a specific spot in the center of the cartridge. This is opposed to a rimfire cartridge, where the hammer can essentially hit anywhere. Generally, the larger the cartridge, the more likely it will be centerfire.
So basically, this thing is tiny, and it’s in Battlefield 1. You may be asking yourself why, to which my response is, why not? It would be hilarious to humiliate your friends by taking them down with this thing.
Battlefield 1 is out October 21 on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.
