It has been announced, in kind of a strange way, that Final Fantasy XV will be getting HDR on Xbox One S.

By “kind of a strange way,” I mean that it was not announced by Square Enix, but instead by Xbox boss (Xboss, if you will), Phil Spencer, in a tweet.
Final Fantasy joins Forza Horizon 3, Gears of War 4 and a few other games in getting this for Xbox One S. Previous Xbox One generations do not support HDR, compared to PlayStation 4, of which all generations of PS4 support HDR.
For those that own HDR compatible TV’s, you can enjoy a brighter image and deeper colors.
Final Fantasy XV launches November 29th after a two month delay.
