Windows 10 and Xbox One players can now get a taste of ReCore with a free 30 minute trial courtesy of developers Armature studios.
ReCore senior creative director Joseph Staten announced the news on Xbox Wire, saying:
We’re excited to let you know that, starting today, anyone who hasn’t yet had the opportunity to play ReCore can now experience their first 30 minutes of the game in a free trial version on both Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. Players will meet Joule, her Corebot companion Mack, and begin their adventure in the beautiful and mysterious world of Far Eden. If you decide to buy the full game afterwards, you can pick up right where you left off, as your progress (and Achievements) in the trial will be reflected in the full game.
He then went on to add:
Also, thanks to our great ReCore community, we’ve received a lot of helpful feedback on the game and will be releasing several key updates today.
Information on those “key updates” can be found here.
ReCore has only gotten a 63% from MetaCritic, but the ability to try it for free might give you the push you need to spring for the game, and if you don’t like it, no harm, no foul.
Maybe that would have helped No Man’s Sky…
