Sam Neill, famous for playing Dr. Alan Grant in Jurassic Park, is joining the Marvel team as it is announced that he will be starring in Thor: Ragnarok.
In an interview with ShortList, the actor revealed that he had, “Done a couple of days,” on the film, but then added that he couldn’t say much because, “…Marvel’s secret agents, and they are lethal, will come and get me and probably my children as well.”
He then went on to discuss with the interviewer the prospects of him returning to the next Jurassic World movie (of which there are rumors that we may be seeing Jeff Goldblum). He seemed wary of the prospect, saying that he isn’t sure of where Dr. Grant is at the moment, adding that he is probably either retired in Ohio and done with dinosaurs, or dead.
Regardless of the massive success of Jurassic Park, Sam Neill is one of the most underrated actors out there. Sure he has seen his share of success, but he is definitely on par with many actors who have garnered much more attention than he. Perhaps that is to do with his choice of roles.
Regardless, we are excited to see Sam Neill on the big screen internationally again.
Thor: Ragnarok is in theaters November 3rd, 2017.
