Mass Effect: Andromeda is gearing up for its early 2017 release, and at the PlayStation event yesterday, we saw some new footage to show off the PlayStation pro’s abilities. However, it will not be running over 30 fps.
The news came at the PlayStation Event when game producer Fabrice Condominas spoke with GameSpot. The PlayStation 4 Pro is definitely capable of higher frame rates than the standard version (which the Slim will now be considered).
The footage seen at the event was also pre-alpha, so there is a chance that there could be some optimization of the game, but it still will not see anything over 30 fps for the new, more powerful console.
It is also unknown whether other popular games, like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Battlefield 1 will see a higher frame rate for the beefed up PlayStation.
