After what feels like years of waiting, EVE: Valkyrie is very nearly upon us. The game will launch on PlayStation VR on October 13th, and Sony Interactive Entertainment has partnered with CCP Newcastle to publish physical copies, for those of you who like something to hold onto.
Of course, EVE: Valkyrie will also be available as a day-one digital download release via PlayStation Store, but select Australian retailers will also stock boxed copies of the game.
No matter which way you purchase it, CCP assures us you’ll get the same great content, including:
- Legendary ‘S4 Wraith’ Fighter
- PlayStation-only ‘Cobalt’ Flight Suit
- Official EVE: Valkyrie Founder’s Avatar
- Limited Edition ‘Founder’s Pilot’ Forum Tag on evevalkyrie.com
- War Chest of 2,500 Gold
Plus, anyone who picks up the game is promised additional free content released throughout the game’s lifetime – and CCP is already making plans for the first free post-launch update.
Sit tight, October’s not too far away, and you’ll (finally!) be zooming among the stars in virtual reality in no time.
