Konami, the studio behind Metal Gear, has said that Survive will not be a full-price game.
In a recent interview with Eurogamer, brand manager of Konami Richard Jones said that the four player coop game would not be retailed at full price. He didn’t go into much detail about the game in the interview, seemingly because of Hideo Kojima’s departure from the studio. Survive will be the first Metal Gear game since Kojima left. Konami is saying that Survive is, “a new addition to the Metal Gear Solid V experience.”
Given a below-retail price point, it is most likely going to be Ground Zeroes-esque, rather than Phantom Pain.
All we know about the game at the moment is that it is being developed in Japan, has survival elements and pits up to four players against zombie-like enemies.
