QuakeCon has kicked off in Texas for another year, bringing with it all sorts of big news from Bethesda – including some new details about Doom, Prey, Quake Champions, The Elder Scrolls: Legends and Dishonored 2. There’s a lot to get through, so let’s take a look!
First up: The first premium DLC for DOOM – Unto the Evil is available right now.
It brings a stack of all-new multiplayer content to the FPS – a new weapon, new equipment, three new maps, a new playable demon, and a stack of Hack Modules, armour sets and taunts. Unto the Evil is all about expanding and customising your multiplayer DOOM experience – and it’s out now!
Other things that happened at QuakeCon included:
…and, in case you thought we were being left out, Fallout Shelter inhabitants are getting ready to take part in the Nuka-Games! Training starts August 5, with each S.P.E.C.I.A.L. training room running faster than usual for two days each (starting with Strength, moving on to Perception, and so on), so Overseers can get better prepared.
And as if that all wasn’t enough, Bethesda was also showing off some super-shiny VR experiences – DOOM and Fallout 4 – again, just to rub in the fact that you’re not at QuakeCon. Maybe next year, huh?
