The team at Bethesda and Titan Comics would like to offer you a little something to help fill the gap before Dishonored 2 launches in November. How does a set of four comics grab you? How about if there’s a novel, too? Maybe three?
Twelve years have passed since Corvo Attano scuppered the Lord Regent’s duplicitous plot against the crown and cleared his name of the Empress Jessamine’s murder.
Now a little older and perhaps a little wiser, Corvo sets his sights on the future and securing an apprentice to continue his legacy. But when confronted by an impossible face from his past, the supernaturally-gifted assassin finds himself drawn once again into an otherworldly conspiracy, one that threatens to shake the very foundations of his ancient city.
The Dishonored 2 comic spans four monthly issues, starting from August 3. The series is written by Doctor Who and 2000 AD favourite Gordon Rennie, and illustrated by Andrea Olimpieri and Marcelo Maiolo (Batman Beyond, Old Man Logan). Olimpieri also contributes one of the four collectible covers, with others provided by Fabio Listrani and Charles Bae (the fourth is the cover of Dishonored: Definitive Edition). If you’d prefer, you can wait a while, and pick them all up at once, with all four issues compiled into one graphic novel launching November 29.
…and then there’s the novel, which is actually a trilogy, from Adam Christopher. The first book – Dishonored: The Corroded Man – launches in september 2016, with the remaining two expected in 2017. Like the comics, the books will cover the time between the first and second games.
