Uh oh. Sounds like ambitious exploration game No Man’s Sky may have been delayed, and will miss its June release date. Even more worrying: We haven’t been given a new date for the game, meaning it could still be months away.
Two people spilled the beans to Kotaku, including a GameStop employee who reports they had to change marketing materials for the game. It seems the original June 21 release date is being covered by an ominous “Coming Soon” label, which we hope means July or August rather than limbo.
…to make things even worse, neither Sony nor developer Hello Games has responded when asked for comment. Boo.
We don’t know whether this delay will impact on the 65daysofstatic soundtrack release, which was planned for a few days prior to the game’s launch.
