Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Phew! I’ve had such a busy week, with most of it far, far away from the PC, so it’s interesting to see that everything’s still pretty much the same as when I left. Looks like everyone’s still playing Dark Souls III – that’s a trend that shows no sign of slowing. There are a few different bits and pieces this week, though: Looks like it’s time to revisit Hobbiton with a Game of the Year edition of Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, Battlefleet Gothic: Armada has caused quite a splash over the past week, and Total War: WARHAMMER is getting people quite excited ahead of its May 25 release date.
It would be interesting to see the numbers involved in this week’s chart – how many people are buying the generic version of Dark Souls 3 (#1) rather than the Deluxe Edition (#9)? What’s prompting that decision? Why are you buying the Season Pass as part of the Deluxe Edition and not by itself? Too many questions! Back to gaming.
