Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Everybody knows that Dark Souls III is not for everyone. The Demon’s/Dark Souls franchise is fiendishly difficult, ridiculously challenging and obnoxiously frustrating. But it seems there are some people – a lot of people – who still want to play it (that is, unless all these PC gamers are buying it and then not playing…). Personally, I don’t see the appeal. I don’t like dying in-game. I don’t like being beaten again and again by the same enemy. I don’t necessarily mean I want my games to be easy, but… no, Dark Souls is not for me.
Looks like it’s for plenty of other people, though! The game’s at the top of the charts yet again, with a Deluxe Edition popping up at #5. It’s surrounded by all sorts of old favourites, from old(ish) school FPS to RPG to RTS to …whatever it is we’re labelling Stardew Valley.
