Thank Gaming It’s Friday! April 15th, 2016

Welcome to Player Attack’s TGIF, Thank Gaming It’s Friday! A weekly feature where we talk about what we’re doing over the weekend whether it’s games, movies, TV, books or anything else! We’d love to hear what you’re up to as well – heck, you might come across some like-minded people and become super friends!

3 words for you, Dark. Souls. Three. This is a series of games that I savour, I never try to rush though them. This is mostly because rushing is the best way to get yourself killed in Souls games, even Bloodborne. Also, they’re just so darned fun!

My Videogame Shoebox will also be getting another dust-off this weekend, wanna guess what it’ll be? BIG Money, BIG Prizes, I LOVE IT!!

There should also be the rumblings of a podcast of some Untitled description, possibly presented by PlayerAttack, going up…

Keep your eyes peeled…

What I’m playing

This weekend I will be playing the only game that has ever come close to emulating regular day to day life: Dark Souls 3.
Between its crushing defeats, steep learning curve, crippling and constant rumination on past choices and occasional moments of quiet self reflection (whilst hiding in a dank cave); I’m going to feel right at home!

What I’m watching

I just discovered they have the first season of Big Bad Beetleborgs on Netflix, so need I go on?

Care to elaborate?

As I’m currently free from the Halls of Higher learning and still nursing a jetlag hangover from Poland, this weekend looks to be one where I don’t especially go hard in the motherflippin’ paint.
So the agenda sports: games (Dark Souls, Rocket League and Dirty Bomb), bad 90’s kids TV and maybe some ice hockey. Who am I kidding, there’ll be some ice hockey…

Also, I did a thing with Mike for the podcast but it’s mostly the cat thing!

What should I name him/her?

What I’m playing

DARK SOULS. And hopefully some Quantum Break.

What I’m watching

Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Agents of SHIELD, and then Star Wars: The Force Awakens a whole bunch.

Care to elaborate?
