Bethesda reveals E3 2016 plans, including showcase, gameplay, party

Bethesda has revealed its plans for “BE3 Plus”, a celebration of the publisher’s many games and the people who play them. The event will follow on directly from the Bethesda E3 2016 Showcase, which will again be held on June 12, the Sunday before E3. The venue has finally been confirmed, too: LA Hangar.

Last year, Bethesda broke with tradition and hosted its own press event, which saw some big reveals (and big leaks) – and this year, it’s got even bigger plans.

BE3 Plus will show off new gameplay and updates for various titles, with visitors able to get some hands-on time with an assortment of demos. The event also boasts hosted interviews, so while you might not be able to chat to Pete Hines himself, you might be able to listen to him explain some of those big decisions.

Plus, just in case this wasn’t exciting enough for you, there’s a tease of a (top-secret) band set to rock out a little later in the evening.

The event isn’t just for industry types, either – just like last year’s showcase, lucky fans are also able to attend: You’ll need to be quick! Registrations close May 1.

…but if you miss out on tickets, or simply can’t get to LA Hangar, don’t fret. Bethesda will also stream the event live from 6:15PT (What’s that in my timezone?). The showcase will start at 7pm, with BE3 Plus kicking off an hour later.
