Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Act surprised. Or maybe don’t act surprised, because this is about as inevitable a #1 as you could expect. We’ve been waiting a while for XCOM 2, so of course it’s topping the charts all over the place. (Happily, 2K is keeping the game updated with hotfixes and patches, so a few of those niggling bugs have already been squished.)
One game that is a somewhat surprising inclusion is a pre-order for a game that came out in 2012. We can only assume that #8 there is related to the CS:GO Operation Wildfire event, which adds 50 new missions to the game, across two new operation campaigns. The new content looks pretty stellar – if you’ve not played CS:GO for a while, it might be time to go back.
