Bethesda has announced the first details of its downloadable content schedule for Fallout 4, with he publisher saying “more than $60 worth” of add-ons are coming in 2016. Subsequently, this has also caused them to revise and increase the price of the DLC season pass.
Fallout 4′s season pass was originally announced in September for $29.99 (USD) / $49.95 (AUD), and has remained as such. Bethesda said that the season pass would “get you all of the Fallout 4 DLC we ever do for just $30.” Continuing, “We know that [the DLC] will be worth at least $40, and if we do more, you’ll get it all with the Season Pass.”
As of March 1, things will change. “Given the expanded DLC plan,” Bethesda is set to raise the price of the Fallout 4 season pass from $29.99 to $49.99 9 (USD), which is $49.95 to $79.95 (AUD).
Bethesda has made a point of saying that it will still honor the purchases of those who got the DLC season pass at the original price.
