Sony’s former marsupial mascot hasn’t really been in the limelight (let alone had a good game) since the heydays of the PSOne; but that may be about to change.
In an interview conducted by YouTuber PixelDan Eardley, NECA Toys toy director Randy Falk talks about the company’s future line of PlayStation toys.
After showcasing toys from Sony franchises such as LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted 4 and God of War, Falk tells Eardley “looking at some of their other titles…I see they’re bringing Crash Bandicoot back, which is really cool”.
In saying that, the rights to 90s PlayStation darling now sit with Activision not Sony. Regardless, Sony seems to be planning something as the Middle Eastern PlayStation Twitter account recently posted a ‘Wanted’ poster for Crash, asking where he is.
