Five Nights at Freddy’s gets a new toy collection

It was only a matter of time – McFarlane Toys has confirmed it is working with game developer Scott Cawthon to release a line of toys based on Five Nights at Freddy’s. There are several sets planned, with the first – Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza – due out by the middle of the year.

Believe it or not, there are more than 300 pieces included in the initial release – minifigs of Freddy, Bonnie and Chica, as well as all the bits and pieces you need to set up a beautiful Show Stage – “party balloons, arcade cabinet, star streamers, happy birthday banner, party stage, decorative clouds and stereo speaker.”

Additional sets will be released in the fullness of time, with McFarlane promising that you will eventually be able to build the camera map from the game.

The first 3-inch kit is due out in August for US$29.99. It will be a Walmart exclusive in the US, but we’re waiting to hear about other regions – everybody loves Freddy, right?

…if you just can’t get enough Five Nights at Freddy’s, there’s also a novel to read, an RPG to wait for, and a feature film in the works.
