A couple of days ago we reported on Battalion 1944, a new WWII squad based shooter that had hit Kickstarter. There was no gameplay footage to show at the time but developer Bulkhead Interactive has remedied that, whilst also discussing more about the games features.
Coming from YouTube gaming commentator Westie, the video shows gameplay of the WWII shooter, whilst discussing stats, progressions, weapon personalisation, how ranks work, and how the game feels in general.
The draw, according to Battalion’s developers, is the authentic period detail and a return to pure skill based gameplay.
We believe your skill should be determined by your play, not through unfair overpowered unlocks & abilities. Battalion learns from the skill based gameplay of classic competitive shooters.
The Kickstarter campaign for Battalion 1944, which was launched a few days ago, has already surpassed its £100,000 goal; with 27 days still remaining.
