A new animated series featuring the Justice League is in production, with Mark Hamill and Kevin Conroy reprising their roles as the Joker and Batman, DC Comics announced.
Justice League Action, a 15-minute episode series from Warner Bros that will air on the Cartoon Network, will put the “action back in heroics”, according to a release from the comics publisher.
“Whether defending the Earth, facing invaders from space, or battling the bizarre forces of magic, the always-rotating team of Justice League heroes, are up to any challenge,” the statement reads.
Aside from Conroy and Hamill, who originally voiced their characters in Batman: The Animated Series back in 1992 and the Justice League animated series in 2001, the series will also feature the talents of James Woods as Lex Luthor and Diedrich Bader as Booster Gold.
There is currently no date set for a premiere but I’m content to wait, if only for my main man Booster!
