Bethesda confirms E3 2016 showcase, announces date

Bethesda Softworks has announced that they will be returning to L.A this year for another pre-E3 event showcase, the publisher divulged on Twitter today.

The company’s E3 2016 press event is slated to kick off Sunday, June 12, at 7 p.m. PT. Bethesda is yet to specify a venue.

Last E3, Bethesda held their first press event to the delight of fans and press alike. Attendees and online viewers got to witness the unveiling of Dishonored 2, Fallout Shelter and its long rumored counterpart, Fallout 4. Bethesda also offered a more detailed look at DOOM, as well as a few other titles.

There isn’t much to go on for what we can expect at this years event, as the only promotional art so far shows a medley of the company’s I.P.

Most likely, Bethesda will expand more on DOOM and Dishonored 2, both of which have a post-2016 release window. We can probably expect some news on post launch downloadable content for Fallout 4 too; although I would love to see more about the F2P on-again-off-again project, BattleCry.

Bethesda will take the stage show six hours after Electronic Arts’ keynote, who have also decided to host an event external from E3 2016 this year.
