Steam Weekly Top Sellers: February 1st, 2016

Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.

It’s taking all my energy to not be all “Oh whoa it’s the first of February already, how did that happen? That’s a twelfth of the year gone…” so instead, I’ll observe that gamers were really hanging out for the PC release of Dragon’s Dogma, pushing it to #1 again for a second week. That said, the title that’s grabbed me the most this week is sitting there at #8.

Unfortunately, I know next to nothing about Scrap Mechanic, besides what’s on the game’s Steam page. I can tell you that it’s a multiplayer sandbox builder, which is getting “Very Positive” user reviews (1,379 at time of writing), and entered Early Access on January 20. The art style is adorable, the concept is solid, and the dev team is listening to player feedback and releasing a constant stream of updates. It’s firmly on the list of games to check out… but that’s a long, long list.

#1 – Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen
The next exciting chapter in the Dragon’s Dogma franchise delivering a huge brand new area, missions, enemies and more, plus all of the content from the original game.
