Bombshell has gone gold. The upcoming shooter is the first game in a decade to come from 3D Realms and Interceptor Entertainment and – after a slight delay – it’s very nearly here!
The story of Shelly “Bombshell” Harrison has taken more than two years “of blood, sweat and tears” to come to fruition. It should have been here last year, but was delayed at the last minute for “quality assurance purposes”. Now, mark your calendars, January 29th is the day!
Bombshell is a PC exclusive, launching as both a standard edition and a Digital Deluxe model, complete with soundtrack, digital artbooks, world map overviews and early beta access to the Bombshell Build Engine retro prequel.
But wait, there’s more! This month has seen the launch of another new trailer, giving fans a glimpse into the official soundtrack for the game from composer Andrew Hulshult. If you like what you hear, the soundtrack will be sold separately on iTunes and “pretty much anywhere else you look for music”
