CD Projekt says listing of Witcher 3: Enhanced edition is an “error”

CD Projekt, developer of the multi-award winning title The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, have addressed rumors of an enhanced edition of the game coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC as an “error”.

The rumored ‘Enhanced Edition’ was first seen as a listing on the French online retailer e-leclerc, with a release date slated for next month.

CD Projekt were quick to respond to these rumors, denying that any such product existed, to their knowledge.

“There’s no Enhanced Edition of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt that we are aware of, this is some kind of error that we will look into,” reads an official post in CD Projekt’s forums.

Credence over the rumor is still being entertained by some online, as the previous entries into the franchise received similar ‘Enhanced Editions’; which included the post launch DLC and other fixes.

CD Projekt are currently working on Cyberpunk 2077, which late last year had optimistic rumors of a late 2016 release.
