Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
The final Steam charts for the year are always interesting. They are – of course – a collection of the biggest-selling games over the past seven days, but unlike most of the rest of the year, we have those pesky Winter sales to contend with.
Who knows – GTA5 might well have sold more than any other game even if it wasn’t on sale for 40% off… but we’re sure the discount doesn’t hurt.
The sale is still running until January 4th at 10am PST (What’s that in my timezone?), and there are some killer savings on offer right up until the final moments. If you’ve got any money left over after the holidays, you probably won’t after visiting store.steampowered.com!
