Happy Holidays from The Angry Birds Movie (no, really.)

Okay, we’re apparently very late to this party – the Angry Birds Movie holiday video has already racked up more than 20 million views online (including ToonsTV, Facebook and YouTube), but it’s so teeth-achingly adorable we had to share it.

We’re not the only ones, either: This is the single most-shared Angry Birds-related content in the franchise’s 6 year history. We’re not surprised. The video shows the Hatchlings, from the upcoming Angry Birds Movie, wishing everyone a very merry Christmas.

John Cohen, producer of The Angry Birds Movie explains:

The young children were brought in and we asked them to sing ‘Deck the Halls.’ The good news for us is that none of them knew the words!

As if online domination wasn’t enough, the Hatchlings are headed for the big screen a little earlier than anticipated, with this video picked up by a number of movie theatres (both in the US and internationally) for the holiday season. Who knows, you could be settling in for the latest space epic, only to be greeted by a bunch of kids who weren’t even born when the prequels were released.

The Angry Birds Movie is headed to cinemas in May 2016, with a killer voice cast including Jason Sudeikis as Red, Danny McBride as Bomb, Josh Gad as Chuck, and Peter Dinklage as the legendary Mighty Eagle.
