UKIE Game Charts, Week 49 2015

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

While “Black Friday” may have once been a North American-only thing, the retail explosion has since expanded internationally, and that’s what’s prompted football back to the top of the charts – its sixth (non-consecutive) week in the top spot. And even though the top three hasn’t changed at all (FIFA 16 joined by Black Ops 3 and Star Wars: Battlefront), there are some other interesting bits happening in the charts, including two new entries!

Hello to both Just Cause 3 and Rainbow 6 Siege, arriving at #4 and #6 respectively. Further down the charts, Xenoblade Chronicles X has made its debut at 28, seeing nearly 75% more sales during launch week than the 2011 Wii-exclusive original.
