Stepping out from the troublesome Melbourne Cup weekend, PAX AUS 2016 will return to Melbourne’s Convention and Exhibition Centre during Melbourne International Games Week from November 4-6 (which also means it’s not coinciding with Halloween again, either!).
Want to go to Australia’s largest videogame and tabletop gaming festival? Well, you can pick up your tickets right now from www.paxaustralia.com.au/registration – and if you act fast, you can take advantage of a nifty Christmas discount price up until midnight on December 24.
Remember that those three-day passes will be snapped up super-fast, so if you already know you want to go, jump in quick!
Robert Khoo from Penny Arcade is very happy to be coming back:
2015 was an award-winning year for PAX Australia – with sell-out crowds and top content across all gaming spectrums. 2016 is shaping up to be bigger, bolder and the best year yet for PAX – so get in early with badges before they sell out.
If you’re confused by all this PAX talk, PAX AUS is the Australian branch of the Penny Arcade Expo, put on by US-based gaming company Penny Arcade and pop culture specialists ReedPOP. The event is a celebration of gaming culture (not just video games!), and is jam-packed with panels, concerts, international speakers, exclusive reveals and more hands-on gaming opportunities than you can mention.
Whether you’ve never been before, or been to all three Australian events, if you’ve got a weekend free in November and love gaming, you should probably head along to PAX AUS. We’ve got a hunch this one’s gonna be big.
