Fez gets a glorious limited-edition physical release

Do you want a copy of Fez? It doesn’t matter if you grabbed it on Xbox 360 three years ago, or on PC the year after that, or on PlayStation last year, it’s about to hit shelves (literally), with a limited-edition physical release. And, as you might expect, it’s a doozy.

Glorious.

Glorious.

There will be just 500 copies made of the game – DRM-free for PC and Mac – numbered and signed by the creators. The game will be tucked away inside an ornate, gold-embossed hardcover notebook (with matching slipcase), “ready to be filled with details of your journey into the 3rd dimension”. That’s already sounding pretty sweet, but there’s more: Disasterpeace’s award-winning soundtrack is also included as an instant digital download.

You can pre-order your copy now, with the game expected to ship December 18th. The soundtrack is also available on double yellow translucent vinyl, if that’s how you roll.
