We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Officially the third biggest launch of 2015 (so far), Fallout 4 has unsurprisingly topped the charts this week, the best-ever launch for the series (213% better sales than Fallout: New Vegas!). Only FIFA 16 and the juggernaut that is Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 have done better, but it’s worth noting that COD has already slipped to #2 in its second week.
Rise of the Tomb Raider has also debuted in the top 10, with Lara showing up at #4 with her new Xbox-exclusive outing. 85% of sales of the game are on Xbox One, with the remainder living in the past on 360. It’s also interesting to note that – despite the hype – the game hasn’t yet sold as well as the 2013 reboot. Could PlayStation gamers make up the difference?
Other new releases this week include PC-only Football Manager 2016 at #7, and StarCraft II: Legacy of the Void, slinking in at a surprising #23. Has that (star)ship sailed?
