Everybody loves a good mash-up, right? So this should make people pretty happy: The teams behind Mass Effect and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 have gotten together to create a bit of an in-game tribute in the horticultural shooter.
Cleverly titled “Grass Effect”, the new game is set to include the rather impressive Z7 Mech, which has had more than a little input from BioWare. Brandishing a powerful
omnitool Zomni-tool blade (and an auto rifle!), the creation also features kinetic padding and some familiar-looking N7 interlocking armour.
Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is set to hit PC, PS4 and Xbox ONe from February 23, and if you want to snag this nifty Z7 Mech as soon as the game’s available, you’ll need to pre-order (there is, of course, the suggestion that if you don’t pre-order, you’ll still get the Mech, you’ll just have to wait a while).
