Fallout C.H.A.T. lets you send messages from the Wasteland

Need more Fallout in your life? Need more Fallout in your friends’ lives? Bethesda’s latest mobile offering won’t give you more Vault Boy – it’ll let you share him with all your contacts, too!

Fallout C.H.A.T. (that is, Communication Hub And Transmitter) is a custom virtual keyboard for your smartphone that you can use to chat, send messages, or otherwise converse with other people.

The app features a standard(ish) QWERTY keyboard as well as more than 60 Fallout-themed emoticons that you can add to your messages. There is also a selection of Vault Boy GIFs, if static imagery just doesn’t do it for you.

And while we know you’d fork over more than a few bottle caps for the privilege, Fallout C.H.A.T. is available right now, completely free, through either Google Play or iTunes.

The app also includes full installation instructions, so even if you’ve never used a custom keyboard, you’ll be good to go in no time. That’s good, because you’ve only got a few days to wait before Fallout 4 launches on November 10 for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
