We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
Do not adjust your set – this week’s Top 4 is exactly the same as last week’s, with FIFA 16 sitting pretty at #1 yet again. It was a slow week for gaming – The Nathan Drake Collection actually suffered a 50% drop in sales, but was still able to maintain it’s #2 position, ahead of Destiny: The Taken King and LEGO Dimensions, although there was a challenge from Grand Theft Auto V, the only game in the top 5 to actually gain sales (and positions!) this week.
It was, however, a week full of new releases. We’ve seen Tales of Zestiria pop up at #8, while WRC 5 takes out #12, Dragon Quest Heroes hits #19, Disgaea 5 at #27, and the console release of Wasteland 2 scrapes into the top 40 at #36. We’re getting to the busy end of the season, so we’re not expecting these charts to stay the same for too long – this really is just the calm before the storm.
