Star Wars Battlefront beta extended by a whole day

If you lost your weekend to the Star Wars Battlefront beta test, we have some good news for you – EA has generously agreed to keep the beta open for a little while longer, to run through some “extreme” server scenarios.

We’re not sure quite what those scenarios are – or what makes them so “extreme” – but an extra day of gametime is nothing to scoff at!

Star Wars Battlefront community manager Sledgehammer70 explains the additional tests will run on both Monday October 12 and Tuesday October 13 (EA time, so probably PST?).

These tests are to help us find some extreme scenarios, and that means some players may experience occasional issues such as being kicked from the game or losing connectivity. This is all being done in the name of shoring up our infrastructure before we launch on November 17th.

Remember, every time you log into the Star Wars Battlefront beta, you’re making the game a bit better for launch. The team at EA and DICE are eternally grateful, and look forward to seeing you on the battlefront in November!
