Each week, gamers around the world log onto digital distribution platform Steam, to get their latest gaming fix, and every week, Player Attack lets you know which games were the most popular.
Phew! It’s been a massive weekend for the Player Attack team – we spent some time at this year’s EB Expo, checking out cool games and talking to cool people (keep an eye out for some great interviews up soon!), and then enjoyed a much-deserved day off.
While we actually spent the day outside, it looks like more than a few people picked up a new game or two for the weekend, and it looks like epic space adventures are still flavour of the month. Elite: Dangerous is zooming around comfortably in top spot, with perennial favourite CS:GO following close behind. In fact, the charts look awfully similar to last week’s… are gamers really that predictable?
#1 – Elite: Dangerous
Take control of your own starship in a cutthroat galaxy. Elite: Dangerous brings gaming’s original open world adventure into the modern generation with a connected galaxy, evolving narrative and the entirety of the Milky Way re-created at its full galactic proportions.
#2 – Counter-Strike: Global Offensive
#3 – METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN
#4 – Grand Theft Auto V
#5 – Cities: Skylines – After Dark
#6 – SOMA
#7 – Dying Light
#8 – ARK: Survival Evolved
#9 – Rocket League
#10 – Fallout 4
