Wolfenstein sequel in the works, says voice actor

It sounds like Bethesda is working on a new Wolfenstein game, if we are to believe the voice actor behind The New Order‘s Anya. The publisher itself has remained tight-lipped, but a recent interview with Alicja Bachleda-Curuś may have let the cat out of the bag.

Alicja was recently interviewed on Polish television, reports Eurogamer Poland, and she dropped a few less-than-subtle hints.

I’m working on a video game, first part of which I have already made. Now we’re making a second one, which will take two more years.

A quick look at the actress’ IMDB page reveals that she’s only been in one video game, 2014’s Wolfenstein: The New Order (Alicja played Blazkowicz’s ally Anya Oliwa in the game).

If you needed more of a hint:

I played this game as a child. I was very happy when I got to the point where I could shoot Hitler.

Predictably, Bethesda is staying pretty quiet on the topic, and if the “two more years” statement is accurate, we could well be waiting a while before we hear the fruits of Alicja’s labour.

It wouldn’t be a surprising development though – The New Order was very well received and this year’s expansion The Old Blood has definitely kept interest in the franchise. Creative director Jens Matthies has also gone on the record saying that MachineGames “would love” to do a sequel… now we just have to wait patiently to see if that is indeed what this is.
