UKIE Game Charts, Week 38 2015

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Destiny: The Taken King has given Activision its first #1 since Week 6 of this year, when Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare topped the chart. 16% of the people who rushed out and bought Destiny in its first week have also rushed out and bought this major retail expansion, but we’re expecting this one will be a slow burner (also, remember, we can’t see digital sales from here). The platform breakdown for The Taken King is unsurprising: 57% PS4, 34% Xbox One, Xbox 360 7% and PS3 just 2%.

Meanwhile, it’s a big week for new releases, with brand new titles at #1, #2, #3, #9 and #15 – and Titanfall even pops up again at #25 thanks to a neat retailer Xbox One bundle deal. A sales drop of 54% has seen The Phantom Pain slide to #4, after both Forza Motorsport 6 and PES Soccer 2016 sneaking onto the list – while Rugby League Live 3 gets ready for the start of the World Cup, bounding in at #9.
