We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.
It’s incredible to note that Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is still at #1 this week despite a massive 78% drop in sales. Kojima’s creation is still doing well enough to hold off Nintendo‘s latest effort, Super Mario Maker, which was forced to debut at #2. The do-it-yourself game has seen the 4th-best debut week sell-through figures for a Wii U title, after Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros and Nintendo Land.
There’s only one game in the top 10 that’s moved up the charts, and that’s Disney Infinity 3.0, which also suffered a drop in sales. That apparently wasn’t enough to prevent it from climbing up a place, while everything else seems to be moving slowly downward. After Super Mario Maker, the single other new entry into the top 40 charts is Tearaway Unfolded, which has snuck in at #33, despite being pretty darn awesome.
