Ladies and gentlemen, I would like to introduce LawBreakers. Formerly codenamed Project BlueStreak, it is the first game from Boss Key Productions, the studio created by Cliff Bleszinski and Arjan Brussee – and it’s looking kinda neat.
We’re still being drip-fed details about the game, which was revealed as part of an ongoing teaser campaign in the leadup to this weekend’s PAX Prime.
If you piece together the clues and tidbits, you could earn yourself VIP rewards – things like alpha and beta access to the game, or something more tangible like signed game art.
LawBreakers is a competitive, team-based FPS set in a future world, where gravity has been changed forever by a cataclysmic event known simply as “The Shattering” (so that’s where that came from). Society has been split into two facions – one that aims to keep the peace and uphold the law, and the other that’s formed a highly-organised crime syndicate determined to break it. Both sides use new-age technology to manipulate gravity and the human body to achieve nearly super-human goals – and both sides are fighting for control.
Pick a side: LAW vs BREAKERS.
If you want to know what the game actually looks like, you don’t have long to wait. The first-look gameplay trailer for LawBreakers will hit this Friday, August 28 at 5pm GMT (What’s that in my timezone?, which will give you a proper look at what’s going on.
