Industry icon Warren Spector has been announced as the opening keynote speaker at this year’s PAX Australia in late October. Spector, best known for his work on Deus Ex, System Shock, Wing Commander and Disney Epic Mickey, will be on stage for the opening “Storytime” presentation on October 30.
Drawing on his experiences across a 30-year game development history, Spector is currently the Director of the Denius-Sams Gaming Academy in the University of Texas Moody College of Communication, as well as writing sporadic blog updates.
PAX Aus is set to kick off at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from October 30-November 1 2015 (that’s just 71 days!) – and Player Attack will be there, alongside a stack of yet-to-be-announced guests and musical acts (like MC Frontalot and The Doubleclicks!).
Three-day passes have sold out, but single day tickets are available for all three days (as are 3-day international passes), so if you want to go, you’d better be quick: www.paxaustralia.com.au/registration.
