UKIE Game Charts, Week 30 2015

We love charts here at Player Attack, and one of the highlights of our week is receiving the latest details from UKIE, who send us the 10 best-selling titles in Britain, as announced by The Association for UK Interactive Entertainment.

Believe it or not, it seems the UK can’t get enough golf, with Rory McIlroy PGA Tour taking out the top spot for the second week in a row – the first for a golfing game. This is the first EA golf title to not feature Tiger Woods on the box, instead using current world #1 Rory McIlroy, but that’s not the only thing different about this particular game.

First announced back at E3 2014, Rory McIlroy PGA Tour has been fondly referred to as Battlefield Golf – while all other recent EA Sports titles have used the Ignite engine, the publisher decided to go with Frostbite 3 instead, meaning that the game uses the same back end as Battlefield 4, Dragon Age: Inquisition and Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare.

In other chart-related news, there’s been no new releases this week, so it’s just a few things moving up and a few things moving down. Same ol’, same ol’.
